Photography is something that has literally consumed my life and in such a positive way. In early 2009 I started playing around with the idea of becoming a photographer. Back then I didn’t really see it as a career just something I loved doing, I mean not many people at the age of 18 really and I mean really know what they want in life.
As I progressed through the years I knew that this is what I was meant to do, this was my purpose, my passion and something I will do for the rest of my life.Being a photographer is tough, there were times I had nothing, times I doubted my decisions and times I just wanted to give up. But when I realised I had the opportunity to make my dreams a reality, that’s when things changed.I then had this overwhelming drive, I found my “WHY” and in 2012 I tapped into that “WHY”. I am a living witness that if you are brave enough to dream it, it can happen. I made a commitment to myself in 2012 that I’m not going to stop or quit until I made my dreams become a reality. It has been an amazing journey so far and I can only go one way from here, up!
My ultimate goal in life is to inspire people or maybe through my work inspire change. Whether it be helping fellow photographers reach their creative potential or creating awareness for endangered wildlife. Photography is a powerful medium!I have had hundreds of missed opportunities, times I decided to sleep in or leave my camera at home. But when you finally find your why, your purpose and the one thing that makes it necessary to wake up every single day that’s when you design your own life…
Close your eyes right now, think of your dreams and say these two words, it’s Possible!
